Antonio Eugenio is a London based photographer who retains a tender, breathy intimacy in his images. Enraptured by those who dare to express their differences as loudly as they please, his portraits often capture a frank vulnerability and brazen sexuality. From looks to skin, touching to style, Antonio finds beauty in those completely intransigent individuals that life rarely breeds. In his words “Whether we are talking about tattoos, style or faces: to my eyes, beauty lies in the uniqueness of things”.
Inspired by the likes of Ryan McGinley, Bruce Weber, David Armstrong or Robert Mapplethorpe, Eugenio traveled to London in the year 2014 to follow a Contemporary Photography course at UAL. One year later, he'll study Fashion Photography with one of the most talented fashion photographer of his generation, Nick Knight.
Working from fashion to art projects, Eugenio's work has been exhibited in Brussels and published on Wonderland, King Kong, Fucking Young, and Teeth Magazine, to name few of them.
Antonio Eugenio currently lives in London.
